Women and Girls Golf Week 2023

Posted 20th June 2023

England Golf's Women and Girls Golf Week is back for 2023!

From 07 August - 13 August, England Golf will be shining a light on the amazing opportunities available to females of all ages and backgrounds looking to play or forge a career in the sport. Throughout the week the themes will focus on new players, health and wellbeing, volunteers, careers, and role models.

The Women and Girls Golf Week activities will be centred around the AIG Women’s Open, held at Walton Heath Golf Club in Surrey. The campaign aims to empower women and girls across the country to share their stories, amplify the message, and stage events to support the campaign.

Club Skills Challenge

In addition to Women and Girls Golf Week activities, they will also be running the Club Skills Challenge as part of the lead up to Women and Girls Golf week. The skills challenge will be available for golf clubs located in Surrey and East Sussex.

The Club Skills Challenge is aimed at beginner golfers who have just started the game or getting their first handicap, and aims to create an environment where juniors can have fun whilst still learning the basic skills to help them develop their golf.

Women and Girls Golf Week Competition

England Golf will also be hosting a Women and Girls Golf Week Competition for people to complete a short survey. A winner will be selected at random to receive two tickets to the AIG Women's Open on Saturday 12 August 2023.
