Our school is a place where happy memories are made. Each child is safe, cared for and learns to care for others; is valued for being themselves; is supported in learning to make the right decisions and challenged to be the best they can be. This vision is underpinned by our shared 'Crowlees Christian Values' ~ Mrs Kathy Woods - Head Teacher

At Crowlees, we aim to offer children many opportunities for PE, competition and extra-curricular sport and physical activity throughout the year. Our clubs are run by teachers, who volunteer their time, and through our links with the Pennine Sports Partnership.  PE lessons cover a broad range of skills and sports allowing children to become physically literate.

Our children say:

I like trying new things in PE like New Age Kurling and fencing.

I enjoy having coaches in to school from Pennine Sports.

I like to try lots of different activities such as cross country, circuits and tri-golf.

PE is different to other lessons in school because it is practical; we are active; we are not sitting down for long; it keeps us healthy.

PE and sport clubs are very active.

I think there are lots of sports clubs to do at Crowlees.
