King's Oak Primary School
At King’s Oak Primary School, we are committed to ensuring that our children understand the importance of being active and having a healthy lifestyle. We aim to ensure that all pupils enjoy sports and games activities, increase their skills in all sports and have the opportunity to develop their talents outside school.
Pupils from across all year groups have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of sports events throughout the school year. For the upcoming year, we are looking forward to providing many new and exciting opportunities for our pupils to get involved with sport, both on an individual and team basis. We hope to continue our success from last year, where we again improved our position on the Borough's sport participation league table reaching 10th place out of 39 local primary schools.
For 2017-2018 (and for the third year in a row!) Kings Oak achieved the school games Gold mark. We hope to achieve the same again this year which will allow us to apply for our Platinum mark in the year of 19/20.
