Whitehall Junior School

As a school we have always strived to provide the best opportunities for all our pupils to lead a healthy and active lifestyle and the supply of the School Sport Funding is enabling us to do this with greater ease. From analysing feedback and looking at what the school already offers, we have allocated these funds towards various aspects to greater enhance what we already do and provide greater wealth of opportunities. The school spends the funding on: promoting healthy, active lifestyles; increasing numbers of children who participate in out of hours sports clubs; using coaches to introduce new sports to the school; use of coaches to team teach PE lessons with school staff as well as promoting healthy living daily at play and lunchtimes and through special health and fitness week activities. The money will be allocated accordingly in order to support the school to make sustainable improvements to the provision of PE and sport for the benefit of all our children.
