Mandeville SGO Area
Welcome to the Bucks & MK Virtual School Games 2020.
Spring Term 2021 - Lockdown 3.0
As we enter lockdown 3.0 the Bucks & MK School Games team in partnership with Leap are bringing you a new and easy way to get pupils engaged in physical activity at home and at school.
Via the Playwaze App pupils at home or at school can enter a series of challenges. The challenges are simple and all the information about what to do, including a short demonstration clip is contained on the app. Pupils can enter as many challenges as they like and they can repeat challenges as many times as they like, updating their score as they go.

In the files section you can find a guide which shows young people and parents how they can access the app via a smartphone, tablet or computer.

As a School Games team we will be uploading new challenges throughout the term. Please share the resources with your families and lets get our young people moving.
Virtual School Games
Whilst pupils are studying from home we will be pausing the School Games sports specific events. However we are aware that you may still like to do some of these activities as mini "competitions" for your pupils in Key Worker School. This term's activities can be found in the files section on the right of this page. For member schools, resources for the whole year can be found in our new googledrive. For access details please contact [email protected] You can also visit the Bucks & MK School Games YouTube channel for demonstration videos. Whilst schools are not required to submit scores, it would be helpful if schools could complete the Primary KWS Spring Events or the Secondary KWS Spring Events form to enable the School Games Team to track schools' involvement with the School Games during COVID-19.
*Given the ever changing situation regarding COVID-19 we are unable to confirm at this stage whether we will be able to hold physical Level 3 School Games Finals and if so what this will look like. However, we do have plans in place for a virtual Level 3 Schools Games if we are unable to deliver a traditional event.
