Half term and beyond
We have launched a number of resources to support physical activity, preparation for competition and leadership. There are options for children and young people of all ages - see the 'related files' section to download!
Primary children can access our brilliant Learning and Discovery Festival - this resource has some great home learning challenges and activities and even boasts video support from a Paralympian!!
For secondary pupils there are two preparation for competition resources. Firstly, the long awaited fitness knockout competition 'Fits a Knockout' is coming soon. In preparation for this we have produced a training log book which includes some of the challenges. This can be used to practice and improve your personal best., with video support from a Strength and Conditioning Coach. Each entry will be entered into a prize draw for 1 of 5 £20 Nike vouchers!
We also have a virtual Cross Country competition on the horizon. In preparation for this we have created a training plan called 'Run the Distance'. This resource gives you an outline plan of how to improve and track your time/distance eventually running 2.5 kilometres. How much can you improve?
Pupils of all ages can access our various leadership challenges. Each challenge has the same aim: Inspire someone else to be active and achieve a personal best!
