Lockdown Sportfolio

Lockdown Journal for KS1 and KS2 children to document their 'PE at Home' journey. Fitness Fun Personal Challenge for ALL ages to complete With new updates becoming available every week.

This KS1/2 Sportfolio is an easy to use journal that you can use to document your child/children's PE and Activity journey through Lockdown.  It has targets to set for each week, and a reflection at the end.  It can be used to help encourage your child to set targets for achieving at least 30 minutes of activity every day, and will provide evidence for teachers that they have taken part in 'PE at Home'.

Each Week there will be a new Fitness Fun Personal Challenge put up on this page, which will challenge your child/children to work towards a goal.  They will perform the challenge at the beginning of the week and the end of the week and record their scores.  The more they practice throughout the week - the more they improve!  This can be done as an individual, or you can get the whole family involved!

West Dorset SGO Area

Welcome to West Dorset School Games page. My name is Victoria Jones and I am very excited to take over the role as the West Dorset School Games Organiser. I am based at Budmouth Academy, Weymouth and cover all schools across Dorchester, Weymouth & Portland, Bridport, Beaminster and Lyme Regis. My sole purpose is to promote sport and exercise to children and young adults, through fun and inclusive practices, activities, festivals and events. I am extremely passionate about the values we promote. I strongly believe that the SGO network can provide a more inclusive variety of opportunties, whilst supplying pupils with pathways to progress outside of school. I am looking forward to supporting the development of pupils all-round sporting skillset, knowledge, confidence and enjoyment in physical activity. Helping to motivate and improve resilience, teamwork, friendships, mental health, community spirit and all round fitness.
