What is lacrosse?

Lacrosse has been played as a taster sport at a number of Summer School Games events across the country in recent years.

Lacrosse 6s is a great introduction to the sport of lacrosse. Played with 5 out-field players, the only equipment you need is the stick. You can use any ball you have to hand (tennis balls, indoor rubber balls, etc) or choose from hard or soft compound lacrosse balls.

Lacrosse 6s can be played indoors or outdoors; you’ll need an area roughly the size of a netball court or a basketball court. The only other equipment you’ll need are some cones and something that can be used as a goal.
