Activity details

The School Intra-Bubble Competition guide provides schools with a simple guide to running dodgeball competitions within class bubbles. It provides an overview of how to set-up and run a dodgeball competition that engages the whole group/class. The guide assists teachers in offering pupils the chance to engage with dodgeball competition in a fun and inclusive environment, which they may have missed in the recent year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Competitions can be run in a suitable clear indoor or outdoor space and require a dodgeball court being marked (by cones or throw down lines). A stopwatch and 3 foam dodgeballs are required per court in use. A basic knowledge of the rules is recommended however the guide includes a simple A4 side of the main rules of the game.
