Activity details
This is a great activity played in 3’s. It can be played as a race against each other or in a 3 to develop movement skills.
Players take turns to be the ‘mover’ or the ‘holders’ and follow a simple pattern of movements to navigate the scarfs being held, travelling over, under, around and sliding.
- Number of participants: Groups
- Purpose of activity: Increase pupil physical activity through a fun challenge, learning to combine movements in a sequence/pattern
- Including all pupils: STEP framework included
- Pupil roles: Participant
- Space: Indoors / outdoors - ensure the area is suitable for two players to kneel opposite each other and for the ‘moving’ player to travel between their team and around them
- Equipment: scarves (2 per every 3 players)
