Activity details

Tee ball is an adapted softball game where batters hit a stationary ball, the game is a striking and fielding activity, played between two teams. 

  • Number of participants: Group 
  • Purpose of activity: Increase pupil physical activity through team competition 
  • Including all pupils: STEP framework included 
  • Pupil roles: Participant, leader, official 
  • Space: Outdoors. Ensure the space is suitable for a diamond shaped pitch, with safety areas for the pupils waiting to bat 
  • Equipment: Baseball bat, ball, tee, cones and mats
