Year 3 and 4 Crystal Palace Cross Country - Saturday 21st March 2023
On Saturday 21st March, the children from our Year 3 and 4 classes were given the opportunity take part in the annual Bromley Schools Crystal Palace Cross country, despite all the children being invited, we only had 11 children who were up for the challenge and the early start! We travelled as a team via school minibus meeting at 7.30am!
There were 4 races in total and the cards show their position in the race.
They all did brilliantly and despite the rain and difficult running conditions all finished with a smile on their face albeit very wet and muddy! They all represented out school well and showed great resilience and sportsmanship. I am very proud of them all!
Our Year 3 girls did particularly well, with Blenheim coming 9th out of 41 schools.
In total, there were over 1,456 runners at the weekend who were cheered on by the Bromley Mayor, Hannah Grey.
