We are so happy that our Eagles Cooks Spinney team who made it to the finals! Once again thanks to the Harlow Rugby Club for supporting the event and to Luke Hammond (SGO), Sam Hammond and Gill Pardoe for assisting David Stacey (Schoolโ€™s Sports Partnership Manager), ensuring that the event ran smoothly. During the afternoon the teams played within 4 groups, the winning 4 teams went through to a semi-final, where both games went to โ€˜golden try in extra timeโ€™, ,congratulations to Henry mooted on this occasions! Teams that qualified for the finals were: Henry Moore 1, Henry Moore 2, Henry Moore 3, Church Langley 1, Church Langley 2, Nazeing 1, Milwards, Cooks Spinney 1, Jerounds , Katherines, Hare Street, Hare Street 2, Little Parndon 2, Longwood, Fawbert and Barnard and Roydon. We wish Henry Moore every success when they go forward to the Level 3 event at Southend next month. Both myself & Mr Defoe are so proud of our students who played their hearts, unfortunately we were missing one of our players you scored a lot of tries in previous games due to illness, perhaps had if he been present the outcome may have been different !
