A fantastic performance at Lawrence Batley Theatre for the PSP dance celebration

Strictly Pennine 2018

Another year, another fantastic performance from our dancers at Strictly Pennine. The group of Year 5 and 6 children have been rehearsing for months in order to be ready to perform on the stage at the Lawrence Batley Theatre in Huddersfield.

After last minute rehearsals on Tuesday, the children were ready! However the weather was trying very hard to spoil our plans. Luckily, our show was able to go ahead without any problems. We were lucky to have our performance on the Tuesday as the Wednesday and Thursday shows were cancelled.

Both dances, an Indian style dance to a song called Shakalaka Baby and a dance to a Thriller mash up, were fantastic! The children really rose to the occasion and enjoyed their time on stage.

We are extremely proud of the dedication put in by the children, and parents, to learn the dances and perform. Miss Wright and Mrs Goldthorpe are already looking forward to next year!

Well done!
