School football

Busy period of football competitions

In the last week, a number football teams have represented the school. A Y5/6 girls team travelled to Basildon and finished 4th, just missing out on qualification to the next round. Y5/6 mixed team also travelled to Basildon, winning 3, drawing 2 and losing 1. We are awaiting their final placement. Y5/6 boys played a friendly against Prince Avenue, winning 4-1. Y3/4 girls played at Len Forge where they finished 6th, having initially qualified for the super sixes. The Y3/4 boys had two simultaneous friendly matches against Heycroft, winning 3 and drawing 1. All the participants represented the school in exemplary fashion. In every event, the confidence grew and everyone should be very proud of their efforts.
