Y3/4 Boys Football

Friday 14th February - all day competition at Len Forge Centre

After the recent wet and windy weather, the boys were greeted with a calm, clear blue sky. In a group of four in the morning, we played Heycroft, coming from behind to win 2-1, narrowly lost to Hinguar 2-1 before going on to be Greenways 3-0. This meant we were top of our group and went through to the Super 10s. We continued the afternoon as we left of the morning, beating Earls Hall 2-0, Bournemouth Park 3-0, Darlinghurst 2-1 and West Leigh 1-0. The boys played some fantastic football, used the space well and showed great team spirit and sportsmanship. This meant we won our afternoon group and now go forward to play Chalkwell, Bournes Green and West Leigh (who finished second in our group) at Roots Hall later in the year. A fantastic achievement, well done boys!
