Active Week 2018

Active Week has returned to Fern Hill, with nearly 10 different providers coming in to take extra sports sessions.

Active Week at Fern Hill has begun!

It all started with an assembly illustrating the active-ness of the staff - who knew that a Year 1 teacher had a black belt in Judo! - and will end with Sports Day on Friday.

This week will see a number of external providers taking extra PE sessions - football, cricket, boxing, tennis, dance, zumba, golf, multi-skills, striking and fielding, and skipping - for all ages from nursery through to year 6.  The children get an opportunity to try new sports, practise existing skills, but  most of all be active and have fun.

Fingers crossed for good weather all week
