Girls Football takes over the lunchtime playground
As part of The FA's girls football initiative, Fern Hill KS2 playground has been taken over by the girls!
The FA are trying to promote girls football and have asked schools to help out.
This week, the football pitch is being taken over by the girls' teams, pitching themselves against each other in 6 a-side friendlies.
With 2 matches played so far, and a minimum of another 2 to play, that means that at least 48 girls are taking the opportunity to showcase their football skills.
The only question remains - when can the girls take over on a regular basis.....?
