Sport Relief comes to Fern Hill

Participation in a school-wide skipping event for Sport Relief - and football and netball to watch as well

Fern Hill took part in a skipping relay marathon to raise awareness of Sport Relief 2018. From the younger ones in KS1, through to Year 6, the children all raced in their houses to complete the most relays. Well done to Kingston.

Sport Relief was visible throughout the week - KS2 held a lunchtime football tournament with teams donating money to Sport Relief to take part.  16 teams in total, playing every lunchtime through to a final on Monday 26th March. Well done to the Year 5s for being the eventual winners. Great sportsmanship and team playing on display throughout the week.

There was also a staff v year 5/6 Netball match - closely fought - with the teachers scoring a winning goal in the last seconds of the match. Well done to all who took part.
