The Year 3 boys worked hard in the cold and the mud - and had a great time

Friday 25th Jan

The Year 3 boys took part in the Kingston Schools tag rugby festival, hosted by Surbiton Prep.

It was cold, but the boys had sensibly brought lots of layers.

It was muddy - and Mrs Lawn had, perhaps not-so-sensibly, given them white kit!

It was tiring - 90 minutes with 6 games being played.

But most importantly, the boys said it was fun.

Having played well in the group stages, the boys went through to the next round, where they were up against some tough opposition. The scores were close in every match, but the winner's accolade was not heading to Fern Hill this time.
