Newbury District Schools Netball Finals

Hermitage finished in Bronze Medal position.

Our fabulous Y5/6 Netball Team played in the finals of the Newbury District School Netball League on Monday the 9th of March.  Scarlett Turley, Fin Smith, Finlay Corcoran, Poppy Craik, Ava Souvertjis, Emily Claydon, Annabelle Pooley and Imogen Burgess played 7 matches at Bradfield College and only lost one match, which was to Falkland, who were the overall winners.  During the afternoon Hermitage beat Spurcroft 3-1, Stockcross 2-1,  John Rankin 1-0, Burghclere 6-0 and Long Lane 6-0.  We drew with Downsway 0-0 and the final results all came down to our last match against Falkland which we lost 3-1.  The team played fantastically well and to come in bronze medal position was an awesome result!
