Convincing win vs Christchurch:Battersea Football League

A convincing win at the Battersea Football League this week on Wednesday....

7 Footballers arrived at Sacred Heart this week to play Christchurch.  It would be fair to say that Christchurch are improving this season, but no real match for our boys, who took a 4-0 win with goals from Finn (2) the match wasn't long enough to make it a hat trick I'm afraid (although he was keen)!  Ned who took a touch and converted into a lovely goal and Platon (who scored in the first few minutes with an absolute blinder across the goal)!  Lucas who worked his magic at left back and centre midfield, Jago (who took a ball to the chest & the face, but saved both) and Max who worked hard in defence along with Matthieu at right back, continually tackling and ensuring the ball was passed towards the goal.  

We rotated fairly giving each player time on the pitch (the benefit of being further ahead on the scoreline) and all the boys helped me with positioning and where they should be sub'd on in order to balance the field and play to their strengths.
