Cross Country

Mrs Pearce-Ramwell, 21 Feb 2019

Cross country running at Hambridge Rec is always a challenge, but the children really rose to it.

Twenty four children made up the cross country team that competed at Hambridge Rec. The course is quite challenging but they all managed to finish.

Oliver came first in the Y3/4 boys race with a very impressive performance, leading from the front and even managing a sprint finish. ALL the children ran exremely well and found a little extra to sprint finish.

The team showed great sporting qualties by not only clapping in their own team but other children too. This was very eveident when the Y5/6 boys were getting ready to start and three of our boys turned and clapped the last girl home from the previous race. Extremely proud moment!
