Y3/4 B/C Football

On Monday 16th of October HBJ took 20 Y3/4 pupils (split into two teams) to take part in the Y4 B/C tournament.
After a early start "HBJ Blues" were put into Pool 5 on pitch 5 with "HBJ Greens" put into Pool 6 on pitch 6. Both teams won their respective groups (6 groups in total) on pitch 5 & 6 - with HBJ Blues winning 2 and drawing 1 and HBJ Greens winning all their 3 games. This meant that both teams were put into the same pool (Pool1! out of 4) for the final group games (along with Carfield and Woodseats) to end the morning.
After some fierce competition, HBJ Blues finished 1st in Pool 1 winning all 3 games and HBJ Greens finished 4th in Pool 1 after losing 1 and drawing 2.
A great morning for all with a lot of support from parents and for each other. Captains Olive and Isaac R were great and Rex & Edwyn finished up as top scorers for HBJ Blues & Greens respectively.
