School Games Cross Country Competition

Once again our team of sports leaders deliver a School Games event for local Primary Schools.

Hurstmere hosted the KS2 School Games Cross-Country competition on 1st March. The event was attended by 88 children aged 7 to 11 from 10 different Primary Schools from across Bexley. Our wonderful team of Sports Leaders helped to run the event, acting as course marshals and 3 of Hurstmere's best cross-country runners acted as hares for the children to follow! Typically, it was a cold afternoon but thanks to our Sports Leaders, the children were encouraged to keep running and complete the course, ensuring everyone had fun in taking part.
