Governor Training ~ County Hall (20/01/20)
Our PE Lead, Mr Paul Neaves, was asked to share his experiences of using the Sports Premium and the impact it has had on JYS at a training session for Governors being run by Active Sussex.
Paul was “volunteered” for this opportunity by Sean O’Connor from the Regis School, who said that Jessie Younghusband School has shown themselves to be investing the Sports Premium money well and getting involved with more sports and local sports clubs.
Paul spoke for 40 minutes to the Governors from local schools in the evening of the 20th, and shared good practice as well as anecdotal stories to highlight some of the things the school has taken part in.
