The local area finals in Bognor was made up of six teams, 13 minute matches and each team to play each other in a “round robin” event.

The children made their way to Bognor to compete against 9 other teams in the “B” team competition.

Yr5/6 Cross Country
24th January 2024
This is the annual junior cross country. This year it is also a School Games qualifier for year 5/6. There is no maximum number of students that can attend per school. Please book on via the website and indicate how many pupils you are entering. Rather than names enter e.g. Bognor primary x30 Attached is a formal teamsheet alongside info. The primary presentation will aim to take place before the secondary results.
Chichester Sportshall Athletics
6th December 2023
There is a maximum of 12 school teams and have seating for all competitors and some spectators. The winning school will advance to the School Games Sportshall WSW Area finals WEDNESDAY 21ST FEBRUARY 2024 @ Bishop Luffa. This competition has been added to the school games and therefore has no cost. The competition will follow the standard Sportshall format, including all track and field events. This is a mixed event for boys and girls in Yr 5/6. A team should consist of a minimum of 9 girls and 9 boys, maximum of 15 girls and 15 boys being permitted. They may compete in a maximum of two track and two field events. CHI Y5/6 Girls' Football

This event is strictly one team per school as this will be popular. It is also capped, so this will be done on a first come first serve basis. Schools can attend either Bognor or Chichester- not both. It is a squad of 10- which will play 7 a-side. Please adhere to attached footwear guidance - and shinpads are highly recommended (schools discretion) Top 3 Schools from both the Chichester & Bognor area will be invited to the SSP area final 05.12.2023. The area winner will represent WSW at the FA schools tournament at Lancing. More info to follow.
