"Road to Eastbourne" Tennis – Bishop Luffa School (24/05/23)
Eight of our Years 3 and 4 children went to Bishop Luffa School on Wednesday 24th May to compete in the "Road to Eastbourne" competition.
The brief was that the schools were to send "emerging players", and that is what we did. Our children went, with their racquets, and entered a competition against some very competitive and competent tennis players. As ever, our children did not disappoint. Over a range of activities and tasks, we racked up points and ended up coming second out of all the schools present. We are once again very proud of how the children behaved and supported each other.
Breaking news - due to a ruling, we have been put through to the final at Eastbourne in June!
