Running Club collectively complete a marathon (25/09/23)
On 25th September, Mrs Dutton’s Monday morning Running Club completed a staggering 26.2 miles between them.
The children arrived early and were set the challenge of each having to run a minimum of 10 laps of the field. They leapt at the challenge and supported each other to complete the distance, with some of the children doing more to ensure that between they had covered the official marathon distance.
The children’s spirits were high, and they received applause from the whole school when they collected the bracelets that Mrs Dutton awarded them on completing this challenge.
