Squash – Chichester (25/05/23)

Five of our Year 6s were invited back to Chichester Racquets and Fitness Club to compete against three other schools in activities that challenged them to use their growing squash skills.

The children were numbered and then had 90 seconds to see how many times they could do a forehand drive against the wall without stopping, then backhand. They were then set the challenge to see how many serves they could get in from the right hand side of the court, and then the left. The last challenge was the continuous rally, with all of the children having to participate.

After a short break, the children then competed in short 4-minute squash games against the pupils from North Mundham, Parklands and Westbourne Primary. We are delighted to have been awarded 3rd place.
