A busy start to the new school year...
Competitions
Since returning back to school, the PE calendar has been none stop with competitions and festivals!
We have entered the boys and girls, Middlesbrough School football events, finishing 4th with the boys and close to another plate win with the girls. We enjoyed a Scavenger Hunt over at Flatts lane country park with some of our Y4/5 children. Prep for Cross Country at Acklam Grange, ahead of the Cross Country Middlesbrough Finals, where we celebrated the success of one of our Y4 boys finishing in the top 10, and representing Middlesbrough at the Tees Valley Finals. We suffered some poor results in the Tag Rugby, that can only be treated as learning curve for our squads. And most recently, a group of Year 4 children had lots of fun at the Come and Try it festival! Next up is Athletics, until we go again in the spring.
Linthorpe Community Primary School
We serve a diverse and rich catchment area and enjoy the harmonious community we have created both within and beyond the school. At Linthorpe, children will be encouraged to explore and respect a range of cultures, languages, traditions and beliefs whilst developing their own identity.
