Friendlies preperation ahead of the EFL Cup

Mr Bruin, 18 Jan 2023

Year 4/5 took to the astro turf at Whinney Banks on Friday competing against four other schools, in a bid to prepare for the EFL Cup that is happening Friday 20th...

The Year 4/5 boys set out to play passing football, being brave on the ball and taking risks. And they did just that. Against Year 5/6 children, our team showed how age is just a number. Playing through the thirds and breaking the lines with some crisp passing, we created chance after chance in each game. Defensively secure, and talented in attack, we won all of our 5 games, scoring 21 and conceding 1! The boys should be confident ahead of Friday, and should be proud of their efforts. With an extra excellence session Friday morning, I am sure the boys will thrive.
