Gymnastics Success

Mr Bruin, 2 Dec 2022

Gymnastics success for our Year 1,2,3 and 4 children at the Middlesbrough Gymnastics competition, led by Mrs Scanlon and Miss Jones.

After weeks of practice, attending after school clubs, giving up break and lunch times to perfect their routines our Gymnastics team finally got the chance to showcase their amazing routines at the Middlesbrough Gymnastics competition that took place at Middlesbrough College. Our Y1 and Y2 children came 5th place in what was a challenging heat. Our Y3 and Y4 children pulled off an unbelievable 2nd place finish, performing Infront of nine other schools they truly were brilliant! We also had some fantastic individual finishes, with Harry and Ted coming 2nd and 3rd respectively in the (Boys overall). And in

3rd place Olivia in the (Girls overall). When asked about the competition by Mr Bruin, Olivia said "I had such a good time today, I came 3rd out of all the girls and had alot of fun!", "It was hard though, there was some really good gymnasts there, so I'm happy with 3rd".  Well done all.
