U16 Girls reach round of 16

Macmillans u16 girls came up just short of the mark in the National Cup round of 16 after losing to a Horizon College side packed with talented players.

After a great run in the National Cup the U16 girls slipped out of the competition after a 6-3 defeat to Horizon College from Barnsley. The tricky away fixture ended in defeat, and the game as a whole was an entertaining spectacle. Arguably the gap between the two teams was marginal and a three goal gap between the two teams slightly flattered the home team. The Macmillan girls though, can be proud of their Cup successes, having progressed through three rounds to reach this stage in a journey that started way back in September.
