7 star striker fires Northbury into the semi final of the Monteagle Shield

Seven goals from Ganiyat and a handful of assists from Lily-Mae saw Northbury burst their way into the Monteagle Shield semi-finals with a 10-0 victory over Ripple

A much improved Ripple side from the one we played in the group stages but Northbury too hot to handle on this occasion. Ganiyat produced some excellent finishes with some great service from Lily-Mae. Leighana was energetic in midfield and won all the battles with Klarisa and Sirin clearing up at the back. A long range effort from Sirin lead to Northbury's opening goal before Ganiyat began to get in on the act. Great link up play between Ganiyat and Lily-Mae also created a long range effort which Lily-Mae buried to get herself in on the act. 

A fine performance where we now face Godwin in the semi-final of the competition.
