Northbury Year 5/6 Boys champions of the Premier League Primary Stars

Northbury brushed aside Aldersbrook in the final with a 5-0 thrashing to take themselves to Watford FC in May!!

Tudor Court 0 Northbury 1:

Northbury off to a slow start but managed to seal the win in the first game with a goal from captain Jephthah. A tough opening game against a resilient Tudor Court side but good to open the competition with 3 points on the board.

Northbury 0 Bishops 0:

In a game where chances were few and far between Northbury had the better of chances with opportunities for both Josh and Jephthah that produced good saves from the Bishops keeper. A point added to the tally to take us through to the final game.

Maryland 0 Northbury 2: 

Goals from Lesecond and Josh took Northbury into the quarter finals of the competition with a 2-0 win over Maryland. Northbury beginning to find their stride with a solid defensive display throughout the group stage and some good link up play from the front 3 of Josh, Jephthah and Lesecond. 

Quarter finals: Northbury 3 Rosetta 0

Northbury's most comfortable victory so far in the competition with goals from Josh, Lesecond and Benjamin to take us into the semi-final

Semi-final: Northbury 1 Bishops 0

Northbury faced the only team they hadn't beat so far in the competition after the group stage draw. A calm finish from Josh saw Northbury into the final of the competition for the first time. 

FINAL

A hat-trick from Jephthah and goals from Benjamin and Josh saw Northbury record a thrilling 5-0 win over Aldersbrook to win the Premier League Primary Stars competition. Northbury really turned it on in the final and were comfortable and deserved winners. They will now represent West Ham at the Premier League Primary Stars competition at Watford FC.
