Tennis Tournament

Wednesday 20th June - Johnson Park

On Wednesday Oaklands took part in their first EVER tennis tournament at Johnson Park. The weather was perfect for an afternoon of great quality tennis. 

The tournament was in a round robin format, everyone plays everyone. The ability levels varied throughout the afternoon, but the teamwork and sportsmanship was amazing to see. 

Oaklands were outstanding, the children had 4 weeks of tennis coaching previous to the tournament, but they had never experienced playing tennis competitively. 

All of the children improved their skills throughout the afternoon and were able to sustain long exciting rally's!
