School Games Panathlon

Oakies are medal worthy at the School Games Pananthlon 2022!!!

On the 25th of January Miss Morris, Mr Tudor, Miss Oliver and Mrs Simpson took 10 students of all different ages and ability to Sundorne Sports Village to compete in the School Games Pananthlon.

Not only did Oakmeadow take part in the competition, the Year 5 and 6s also helped to run it and what a great job they did.

Our students took part in 8 different stations, each station had a new task to complete that was completely different to the one before. Our Oakies did such a fantastic jobs and earnt themselves a medal at the end along with a certificate. I am so proud of Oakmeadow, they showed great determination and amazing sportsmanship as they clapped and cheered for all of the other  schools.

I am also super proud of how well our Year 5 and 6s did running the event. The showed maturity and willingness to help those who found certain activities hard. You really were brilliant role models for the children.

You all did such an amazing job and we are all so extremely proud of you!
