Cross-Country Success at the Kingston Borough Championships

On Tuesday 7th November 2017 29 year 5 and year 6 pupils took part in the Kingston cross country.

All the children did amazing performances and because the children did so well the team places were amazing.

First it was the year 5 girls race all the girls were very nervous and very excited. Next was the year 5 boys all the boys did the best as they good.

After that was the year 6 girls race and some of the children did the one last year so they were giving their advice to others. Most of the girls that did it last year wanted to get in the top ten and three of the pupils did Sophie Conway (6 albatross) came 8th Caitlin Lowe (6 albatross) came 9th and Charlotte ( 6 flamingos) came 10th. All the other girls did extremely well.

Finally was the year 6 boys race most of the boys did it last year and also had big ambitions like the girls but it was harder for the boys because they had 250 boys in their race so where any of the boys to come in their positions of where they came was incredible.

I think all the pupils did amazingly well and we hope they had an enjoyable experience. We all hope they will keep on running and we think we have got some runners in the making.
