Hi-Five Netball Championships

Year 6 and 5 went down to Kingston Grammar School to participate in the High 5’s netball festival. The sky was clear and the weather was perfect for a morning of Netball. The children were very excited and eager to play in their first game. OLI got off to a flying start with great passing from the team and team work that lead to Our Lady to win our first match 5 – 3. However, our next two matches were against tougher opposition.

Whilst the team showed great passion and determination playing until the end of each game was great credit to them and reflected a positive attitude to continue trying until the very end. On the whole the festival was a positive experience and with many of the year 5’s left eager to participate in the event next year. To showcase the skills that they have learnt and improved since participating within the Netball Festival. They have been working very hard in lesson and should be very proud of how they conducted themselves.

Team: Rhiannon. Harrison. Buddy, Erin, Raphael, Grace and Olivia.

Well done-Mr Kay!
