KS2 Primary Challenge

Primary Panathlon Challenge

On Friday 16th November 2018, eight KS2 pupils took part in the Primary Panathlon Challenge at Chessington School. O.L.I were competing alongside nine local primary schools, competing in activities including: football dribbling, tennis relays and table cricket. The children displayed excellent qualities such as: enthusiasm, teamwork and perseverance.

The pupils certainly enjoyed this sporting event as is shown by what they reported from the event:

· Evie L (Parrots): ‘I think we all did well.’

· Lorenzo (Parrots): ‘I think we all tried our hardest.’

· Maja (Swans):It was fun.’

· Aldrin (Eagles): ‘I think that the team worked well together.’

· Michael (Eagles):I think we could’ve done better.’

· Merdy (Albatross): ‘I found it fun and we worked well.’

· Donavan (Flamingos): ‘I think we did really well and could’ve done even more.’

· Calistus (Albatross): ‘I found it really fun and thought we worked well together.’

The children performed really well in the Panathlon activities. I would like to congratulate all O.L.I team members for representing our school in such a great manner; you are a credit to our school!

I would like to extend my thanks Mrs Donaghue and Miss Simmonds for the excellent support they provided the children in travelling to and from the venue, in addition to supporting them in the activities.
