KS2 Summer Relay preparation

Have a look at how lots of children from Year 3, 4 and 5 have prepared for the Summer Relay event which is taking place on Wednesday 13th June 2018.

Following trials that have taken place in school, 28 children have been training ahead of participating at The KS2 Summer Relay event at KGS Playing Fields on Wednesday 13th June.  

The Summer Relays consists of four runners (two boys and two girls) per team  with each runner completing a 800m leg each. O.L.I teams will be coming up against children from nearly 30 schools. 

The children have been working really hard training for the event by completing Golden Mile running in class and taking part in before-school running sessions.
