PE and Exercise Activity Ideas- February 2021

Please view below reminders of the initiatives shared previously via Google Classroom/Parentmail and also in the January newsletter.

- Richard Challoner School’s Weekly Challenges

- Kingston Family Exercise Challenge (collective walk/jog/bike to Kingston, Jamaica)

- London Youth Games Weekly Challenges

- The Youth Sports Trust Virtual Clubs (Tuesday/Thursday at 5.00pm)

Over the past few weeks, extra exercise and fitness initiatives have been shared for your children to engage with. View brief summaries of these below:

· EFL Joy of Moving: a scheme from the English Football League, with a fantastic range of physical ideas for children to complete at home.

· FA’s Disney Shooting Stars: six separate physical challenges based on characters from the film ‘The Incredibles’.

· Chelsea Football Skills: range of videos for children to work on key footballing skills, without the need for lots of resources.

Finally, I have some exciting news from our new Kingston School Games Organiser who has said that there will be virtual inter-school fixtures and competitions against other schools in Kingston. This should be taking place from the start of March. I will share the full details when I have more information.
