The London Youth Games Cross Country

Hi, I'm Charlotte and on Saturday I ran as part of the Kingston team at the London Youth Games. As a team we did really well, the under 11 girls came 17th and the boys 16th. Caitlin Lowe also entered as part of the Kingston team coming 86th a I came 78th. The older years did well too; the under 13 girls and following that the under 15 boys came 13th place and the girls came 19th place. The oldest year group did well too but sadly with only one runner in the under 17 girls there was no overall result in that race. The boys came in 17th place though.

How to enter:

To enter you must be nine or over. All you need to do is go to the parkrun every weekend. First though you need to go on the website to get a barcode this will tell you your PB and time. Coming up to the London Youth Games the organiser will pick the Kingston team by looking at your PB. You will receive an e-mail telling you that you're part of the Kingston team!!!

The event is very relaxed and a great family event. Hope to see you next year!!!
