Under 11 Premier League Primary Stars

Congratulations to the 18 children who took part in the first Premier League Primary Stars event in Kingston. The event, which was held in Dinton Field, Kingston, was organised by the Chelsea FC Foundation. It consisted of two separate competitions for the girls and boys.

Both teams did excellently in the group stages, comfortably making it through to the knock-out phase. The boys achieved 2 wins, 1 draw and 2 very closely fought defeats. The girls won three games and narrowly lost two.

The boys played Corpus Christi in the quarter- final and were unable to make their possession count by losing 2-0. The girls went straight through to the semi-final where they played against Coombe Hill Junior. The game was very close and ended 1-1 after an extended period of extra time. This meant a penalty shootout, which unfortunately the girls ended up on the wrong side of.

We would like to congratulate all of the children who took part. They showed great teamwork and represented our school fantastically, showing fair play throughout. Finally, we would like to thank all parents and carers for their support and understanding with taking the children to and from the venue.
