Today 472 of our pupils joined in our School Games Day

Our School Games Day 2018

Our 2018 School Games Day was a massive success. We had 472 pupils from year 1 to year 6 taking part in loads of different activities and races. Our sports crew and sports leaders were amazing and the whole day went without a glitch.

We split it 8 to 3 sections , years 1 and 2 , years 3 and 4 and then years 5 and6. Parents , Grandparents , Aunties, Uncles, borothers and sisters all turned up to cheer their own and everyone else’s children on.

Our children showed the true meaning of #Teamwork #Passion #Self-belief #Honesty #Determination and #Respect.

I know I am biased but it really was so amazing to see the whole school work as one and support and encourage everyone.

Mr Johnson was the resident DJ and official tannoy expert, we had a flossing competition , dance offs , sprint races, good old fashioned egg and spoon races and don’t forget the sack race.

The day started with the obstacle course which included , space hoppers, agility ladders and tunnels. Then the fun continued throughout the morning. We were incredibly lucky with the weather too.

Thank you to all the children, staff and parents for maki g it such a memorable day.
