Athletics Competition

On the 14th of June 42 year 5/6 students were selected to attend an athletics competition in the Sports village against 32 schools in Middlesbrough.

  

Here is some detail about what went on:

There was six activities- howler, running long jump, 800m, 600m, 80m relay, 80m hurdles 60m sprint and chest push.

Louie  came 1st in the 800m

Eden  came 1st in the 600m

Elizabeth  came 3rd in the running long jump

Jack came 3rd in the running long jump 

The year 5 girls and 6 boys came 5th in the 80m relay

The year 5 boys came 4th in the 80m relay

St Edwards came an impressive 7th out of 32 schools.

We are so proud of all the hard work and determination that went into these pupils and have made a great job representing our school.
