Year 3 do a World Cup inspired dance

Dance Year 3

As the world cup is starting Y3EN have created their very own dance routine to respond to scoring a goal. The class split into groups and created a routine, and then showed it to the whole class. A few people (the judges) watched the children, and gave them a number on: how well they were in sync, how many different dances there was and how related the dance was to football. The scores were added up and two students won and in conclusion showed everyone their dance again. The class also did world cup related worksheets. The class was excited for two reasons, they were doing word cup related work, and some members of the class were very excited that England won the penalty shootout. The class had two weeks to create and show their dance. Everyone produced an excellent dance routine and was happy with what took place. Everyone thought of something about the world cup celebrations. It was great to hear the different perspectives. Some people thought of acting out scoring a goal or taking a free kick.
