We are Gold!
St. John’s achieve Gold standard for School Sport.
We have been awarded the Gold School Games Mark. This shows how much we have moved forward in the last year. Our SSOC have been fantastic driving the playground leadership programme forward with a mature and dedicated attitude (essential qualities for leaders). The effort of our team players who participated in football, athletics, netball, swimming, tag rugby, cricket and cross country was amazing. Our whole school approach to inter house competition was also a triumph with every child and teacher/TA taking part in at least 2 events.
This is just the start of it. There are plans already in place to build on this success with a big focus on personal challenge and being more active. Once we have finalised these plans we are hoping to increase the activity level of our students and improve fitness levels. As a preview watch out for how to train like a Jedi and the daily mile!

St John's Waterloo Primary is a small school with big aspirations. We are currently using our school sport funding to increase competitive opportunities and develop more access to high quality physical education for all our staff and students.
