St. John's wins netball competition

Y3 and 4 Netball

Our students from Y3 and Y4 have been working hard after school to get ready for the Netball tournament at Chesterfield High School. They have developed their skills every Tuesday and were more than ready for the challenge of inter school competition. With the players split into two teams (reds and yellows) they set about playing their games. Both teams out scored St. Mary's and Green Park and ended up playing each other in the final. There was nothing to separate the two teams but yellows managed to force a lead and won in a close fought competition. Although the yellows received the medals everybody showed a fantastic attitude and great game play (with 15 goals scored across 8 games)! Well done to all players and keep up the good work.
